RONDA STUBBS, Chamber Ambassador of the Year 2022

Rhonda Stubbs has served as a Chamber Ambassador for over 8 years. During this time, she has always been more than willing to step up to the plate and help wherever needed. She is respected by her fellow ambassadors and others and seems to have never met a stranger.

Most know the Ambassador of the Year by her welcoming voice, friendly smile, and willingness to be of service. She is a role model to many. Her loyalty and sincerity are to be admired, as is her professionalism and compassion for others.

The Ambassador of the Year handles ambassador assignments with pleasure and devotion and always asks, “What else can I help you with.” She always amazes you. Her personality is infectious and draws you in. As a Chamber of Commerce, we feel very fortunate to have Ronda Stubbs on our team as an ambassador. Without a doubt, I know that her fellow ambassadors feel the same.

Ronda Stubbs is well thought of in Chatham County through her community service and her role as the Director of Admissions & Marketing for Cambridge Hills Assisted Living and The Nook at Cambridge Hills. She has years of experience in the hospitality business prior to her employment at Cambridge Hills.

Ronda lives in Bynum and is the very proud mother of one son, Ethan Stubbs. If you don’t find Ronda in Chatham, you will most likely find her at her beach house in Harker’s Island. Ronda enjoys time with family and friends, scrapbooking, cross-stitching, yard work, reading, and probing into family history.

MALINDA MARSH, Chamber Ambassador of the Year 2021

Malinda Marsh has been an ambassador for 14 months. From her first day as an ambassador, she hit the ground running, always volunteering for one thing or the other. She is natured to serve and thoroughly enjoys helping out in any capacity. Malinda often works or collaborates on her own time to be of service to others.

Ms. Marsh has been a goodwill arm of the Chamber and a great addition to the ambassador team. She seeks out opportunities to tell people about the Chamber, helps promote events and services and is thoughtful, motivated, professional and relatable.

Marsh is employed as the NCWorks Center Coordinator. NCWorks connects residents with potential employers and businesses in the state with the candidates they’re looking for, so all of North Carolina can prosper. They offer support with everything from pulling together a resume and finding the right training opportunities to prepping jobseekers for interviews.

Malinda has extensive experience providing business services to promote workforce development. She has served diverse populations for several years providing business, employment and training services in Orange, Chatham and surrounding counties.

Ms. Marsh enjoys networking, event planning, career counseling, life coaching, sports, reading, music, and shopping. What she enjoys most though is helping others to reach their goals.

Malinda is a great asset to the Chatham County community, workforce, and the Chatham Chamber.
