 CCUCC Golf Tournament

Chatham County United Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce its 20th Annual Golf Tournament to be held for the first time at Governors Club's “Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course” on August 18th. The chamber is endeavoring to make this a bigger event than in years past. With more attendees there will be more networking opportunities, thus promising a very successful tournament.

Registration for the event will begin at 9 a.m. with a 10:30 a.m. shotgun tee time. A barbeque dinner and awards ceremony will follow the golf. Ericka McCaw, Chamber President, advocated for the selection of this location, feeling that the chamber needed to expand its presence. She states, “The chamber serves all of Chatham County, yet is often referred to as the “Siler City” chamber or the “Pittsboro” chamber. Holding the tournament at Governors Club provides an opportunity to dash that perception, while enjoying an incredible day of golf! We (the chamber) serve the entire county and strive to find ways to bring our members together.”  Ms. McCaw continues, “I want to give our members and golf guests a chance to break out and try something special. I think holding the event at Governors Club will do just that.”
 
The Title Sponsor for this event is Therapeutic Alternatives who has been serving North Carolina since 1958 and have recently opened an office in Pittsboro. The Gold Event Sponsors are Chatham Hospital, Embarq and Townsends. Forrester & Associates and Chatham Chevrolet Buick Pontiac are the Silver Event Sponsors. Other sponsors include Carolina Brewery, Smith’s Coffee & Premium Water and Brookwood Farms. Horizon Cellars will offer wine tasting during the reception. Ms. McCaw states, “Each of these corporate partners has contributed to the success of this event and the continued operation of the Chamber and we cannot thank them enough.”
 
Green Fees
$85 per player or $325 for a team of four players who are members of the Chamber.
$95 per player or $350 for a team of four players who are not members of the Chamber.
Fees include golf, cart, lunch, banquet and goody bag plus a chance to win hole and team prizes. This special event will be limited to the first 35-foursome teams that register.
